IN FOSTER CARE

Mittens

Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Bio data

Mittens has been spending some time in foster, here’s what the humans have to say about her:

We’ve been calling her Violet and have found her to be a very playful and happy puppy!

She really likes to snuggle up and nap and has done excellent with crate training and is getting better and better with potty training.

While she is still very mouthy and wants to bite and chew, we find it to be age-appropriate and redirect her with a firm “no” and point to her own toys and treats.

She has charmed the hearts of our friends and family who have visited and done well with our little kiddos. I will say, due to her age and her big size, she’ll be better with kiddos who are also a bit older/bigger.

She is enjoying our spacious (and fenced in) backyard to run and play in, which is great as the weather this week hasn’t been good for walks, lol.
