Owen Wilson

Heartworm+

Personality Color: blue

Blue dogs are easy going and easily adapt to new situations. They are generally calm, may be playful but not overly exuberant, and will likely be happy doing just about anything with you. These dogs will be a good fit for just about any home, and would be great for first-time dog owners.

Read a note from Owen’s foster family:

“Owen is an extremely sweet, chill dog. He loves receiving affection. He will cry a bit if he’s isolated, but is more than content to lay nearby. If you’re not up for pets he likes to hunker down by your side, resting so he maintains contact with your foot. He enjoys finding sunny spots to lay in, working for treats, and brief games of chase/fetch. He has a good sit and we’re working on his down/stay and anxieties around being crated. He’s rather well-behaved on the leash, with no lunging, but does pull a bit when he goes off sniffing and marking the environment. He hasn’t displayed any food aggression. Has been wonderful about taking meds just placed in with his kibble. Owen was wonderful being bathed, and simply waited patiently to be done and lifted out. He is great with kids, letting them love on him, sometimes a bit too hard, with an uncommon level of patience. In summary, Owen would make a wonderful, easy-going companion for any household.”
