Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

When I came to the shelter, I had BIG feelings and was very scared. Oh boy, how I have gained confidence since that day! I’m still sensitive and sweet and need gentle people who will go slow with me, but I warm up a lot faster! I like treats, ear scritches, chasing a ball, and being with my favorite familiar people! I’ll need more confidence building, a cozy retreat all my own, and older kids only! Visit me today!
Kids: 10+, jumpy/mouthy, sensitive, takes time to warm up
Dogs: Very concerned about other dogs; avoidant. Needs slow intros with gentle dogs.
