Blue dogs are easy going and easily adapt to new situations. They are generally calm, may be playful but not overly exuberant, and will likely be happy doing just about anything with you. These dogs will be a good fit for just about any home, and would be great for first-time dog owners.

Hello there! I’m a sweet guy who is friendly and affectionate. I’m pretty worried here at the shelter and sometimes with new people. Go slow with me and I’m sure to warm up fast! I enjoy treats, affection, being with people I love, and exploring with my nose! I need gentle people, to have positive experiences, and plenty of leash walks. Let’s go!


Kids 8+, sensitive to some handling, go slow, gentle kids

Dogs: stiff at first, then some sniffing, prefers very polite dogs, slow/careful intros
