Rainbow

Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Bio data

Rainbow is currently in foster, here’s what the humans have to say about her:

“Rainbow has done incredibly well integrating into our home. She gets along with her two foster brothers, one of which is a puppy she is very gentle with. She also gets along with various playmates in the neighborhood and is a polite greeter. She has done very well on the leash for us and loves walking, but she does get excited and pulls towards fast cars, bikes, or joggers. She is not a strong puller and is easy to control, and is also responding very well to training with positive reinforcement (aka yummy kibbles or treats!). She is a bit hesitant of squeaky toys, but loves a good stick or hard chew like an antler or buffalo horn. She loves playing chase with her foster brothers as well. Overall she’s an amazing dog, she’s never had an accident in the house and is crate trained for when she’s left alone, it’s her safe space. She knows a few basic commands (sit, lay down, leave it, drop it, stay) and is super smart.

Rainbow would make a great addition to a family with or without other dogs that could take her on walks or hiking adventures, and cuddle up on the couch together. She’s so well behaved and really just wants to be loved, she is so grateful for any love you show her.”
