Has anyone in this place ever even seen a chicken?! They call me Rooster–your guess is as good as mine. I’m a friendly, sweet, goofy and loveable boy who will steal your heart! I love to play with a stuffy or a ball; I’ll even play a game of tag. I also like treats, affection, and learning new tricks. I’ll need basic training, a routine that includes lots of playtime, a cozy retreat, and lots of positive experiences. Take me home today!

Hi friends! I am currently fostering Rooster, and we are having a fabulous time. Rooster is an amazing dog. He walks well on the leash; sometimes gets a little excited and pulls on the lead when he senses another dog in the distance, but is calm when they pass by. He was well behaved when I gave him a bath, does great in the car, and was super chill even when going thru the car wash. He knows “sit” very well, and we’re working on name recall while on a long lead, and “down”. He settles in his crate after just a few minutes.
In sum, Rooster has done beautifully in our home, despite it only being a few days. He’s such a sweet boy. Wonderful, lovey, goofy, and well-behaved.
