We spent a lovely afternoon with Rosie and can’t rave enough about this sweet girl! She is super inquisitive and fun to watch on the hiking trail as she takes in each scent and keeps an ear tuned for the scampering of squirrels. Rosie keeps a brisk pace and pulls a bit, but loose leash walking is well within her grasp. She is also happy to take a break when her person requests it, taking a seat right beside you and leaning in for pats, scratches, and kisses. She was alert when passing other dogs and would keep an eye on them, but did not bark, lunge, etc.
After her forest trek, Rosie felt that a hot dog lunch was in order, so we made a stop at King’s Sandwich Shop. She waited patiently for her meal, and was very gentle while eating. She much preferred this to the treats we had for her on the trail 🙂
Rosie then spent a little time exploring the area to see if she’d like to be a downtown dog. And even though it was a semi-quiet Friday afternoon, she impressed us by paying no attention to the cars, scooters, stroller, and skateboard that we encountered. She continued to be curious, stopping to look into shop windows, hoping that maybe her forever person would be inside and take notice of her adorable forehead wrinkles and beautiful light green eyes. Rosie has a lot to offer an adopter — she is affectionate and adventurous, but also enjoys those quiet moments of contemplation. Go meet this wonderful girl today!
