Salem
Personality Color: orange
Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!- senior

I’ll thrive with patient people who understand my boundaries and can provide a cozy, quiet retreat to keep me feeling safe. Ready to fall under my spell? Come meet me and adopt me today!

More about Salem from his time in foster care:
Salem may be an older pup, but he acts more like a young dog! He loves to play with toys and balls. He’s living with two other dogs in his foster home and has done well with them, and he sleeps peacefully at the foot of the bed through the night, only getting up if one of the other dogs needs to go out.
He’ll bark and growl at dogs he doesn’t know, especially on leash. He needs careful introductions but could do well in a home with another dog who’s a good match for his style.
Ready to meet me? I’m in foster care, so please fill out an application and email it directly to adoptafoster@apsofdurham.org.
