Shrimp Boat

Personality Color: green

Green dogs are a bit more shy and sensitive, maybe a little anxious, but are sweet and they try hard. These dogs will flourish with patient adopters providing gentle guidance and confidence building. They are likely too timid for active homes with children, and would do best in a calm, quiet home getting the TLC they deserve.

Meet Shrimp Boat, the sweetest dog on three legs! She has been recovering with foster parents and now that she is feeling confident and safe, she’s ready to settle into her forever home. She is an absolute stunner with her brindle coat, perky ears, and delightful hop!

Shrimp Boat loves morning walks and evening cuddles on the couch, so if you’re looking for a playful cuddle bug who will rest her head in your lap, she’s your girl.

Shrimp would especially love to join a home with another dog who can show her the ropes, chase her around the backyard, and gently wrestle during playtime. Having another dog around definitely helps her feel more secure. She’s also able to join a family with cats! She is curious but gentle with her cat foster brother.

She is doing great with crate, potty, and basic training. While she’s still a little shy when getting her collar and leash put on, Shrimp Boat loves a nice walk. If you’re gentle around her face, she loves to lean in for pets and face scratches.

Even though Shrimp Boat had a tough situation, she has adjusted beautifully and is learning quickly! We want Shrimp to find a human that will be gentle, loving, and encouraging as she finishes out puppyhood and comes into her own
