Your package has arrived… and it’s filled with unconditional love! I’m Tilda, and I think I’m the kind of gift that just gets better the more you get to know me. I can be a little shy at first, but I walk nicely on leash, happily come out to explore, and before long I’m leaning in for ear scritches and soaking up every bit of gentle affection you have to offer. My favorite place is right beside kind people, and I’ll gladly remind you that sometimes the best moments are the quiet ones shared together. I’d love a family that enjoys peaceful walks, positive training, and helping me discover new adventures at my own pace. I’ve even started carrying around a stuffed toy, so I have a feeling my playful side is just waiting to be unwrapped! If you’re looking for a best pal who makes a house feel a little more like home, I’m exactly what you’ve been waiting for!

Just wanted you to know that Tilda is settling in even better/faster than we’d hoped. It’s only been 24 hours, so I wouldn’t want to give an actual assessment quite yet, but if you want to add to her notes that she is indeed housebroken (though at this point requires company to do her business out in the yard) and, even better, loves her crate! I had been worried about that since she’s still kind of fearful getting into the back seat of my car. She walked into the crate before I’d finished putting it together, and went in and out on her own throughout the evening. She settled happily in there and slept through the night. Not a single bark yet, even when a neighbor knocked on the door last night. She’s an EXTREME velcro dog, but not in a pushy way, just needs to be lying quietly next to me at all times and of course follows me everywhere. But that’s typical shepherd, so I’m used to it. She’s a little more interested in my cat than I thought she would be, but a firm “no kitty” gets her to disengage, so I’m hoping I can train her to be more neutral.
