Toffee Crunch

Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

Peanut Brittle, Honeycomb, Caramel D’lite… let’s just say I’m a super sweet treat! I’m a sweet and sensitive girl who can be a little insecure at times and will try to climb into your lap for comfort! I love affection, treats, and playing with toys — the squeakier the better! I also enjoy exploring and living out my dream of being a lap dog! I’ll benefit from a cozy retreat, gentle people, confidence building, and lots of positive experiences. Come visit me today!

Kids: 6+, might start out nervous, gentle kids

Dogs: Stiff but soliciting, tolerant of jumpy dogs, prefers a gentle sniffing partner

More about Toffee Crunch from her time in foster care:

Now that she’s in a foster home, Toffee Crunch is starting to exhale… and it’s been so special to watch her slowly relax and just be a dog. She’s making progress every day! 💛 She LOVES chewing on hard plastic toys and happily entertains herself that way. She’s also a fan of stuffies — though she’ll need a little supervision with those because she enjoys them a bit enthusiastically 😄. She also gets along great with her foster sibling!

Treats? Yes please! She’s definitely treat-motivated, which will make continued training that much easier. She’s already showing what a good girl she is and how ready she is for a more stable, loving environment.

At night, Toffee Crunch has the cutest routine… she prefers falling asleep with a fan or some relaxing spa sounds (honestly, same, girl). It’s just one of those little things that makes her even more endearing.

Car rides are still new and a bit confusing for her, but with patience and practice, she’s going to get the hang of it in no time! What she really needs now is someone willing to continue showing her the world isn’t so scary — someone who will be patient, kind, and understanding as she keeps building confidence.

Toffee Crunch has already come so far. Imagine how much she’ll blossom in a forever home 🏡! If you’re looking for a dog who will quietly steal your heart and remind you how powerful a little love and safety can be, Toffee Crunch would be a great match!
