RECENTLY ADOPTED

Yaya

Personality Color: green

Green dogs are a bit more shy and sensitive, maybe a little anxious, but are sweet and they try hard. These dogs will flourish with patient adopters providing gentle guidance and confidence building. They are likely too timid for active homes with children, and would do best in a calm, quiet home getting the TLC they deserve.

More about Yaya from her foster:

Yaya is a little cutie with a BIG personality! She is shy at first, but once she is comfortable with you she is play, play, play! Her medium size (~45lbs) makes her perfect for any sized home. She loves playing with her jolly ball and wrestling in the yard with her furry foster brother. She is super smart and eager to please. Some of her accomplishments are:

🐾 Sleeps through the night in her crate
🐾 Knows “sit,” “down,” “come,” “stay,” “heel,” and is learning more weekly
🐾 Walks well on leash and is quick to take care of her “business” outside

Yaya seeks out affection and loves to play in your lap with her favorite chew toy. She has done extremely well meeting adults on leash, and greeting children from a distance. She is very treat-motivated and adapts easily to new experiences (car rides, bath time, coffee shop, etc.).

Her ideal forever home would provide a commitment to continued skill-building, plenty of playtime, and the structure she needs to manage her puppy energy, in exchange for a lifetime of love and cuddles!
