I adopted Dulcie in May or June of 2000 . She was part of a litter of puppies abandoned in an apartment and brought in to the Durham APS. At the time we thought she was a dachshund mix but it turns out she is a beagle/basset hound mix. She is a wonderful companion and I love her so much! She lives like a queen with fancy collars, bandannas, sleeping in the bed, and of course, lots of love.
