Movers for Mutts is back, and APS of Durham is once again partnering with Two Men and a Truck to support the thousands of animals who enter our shelter each year through a community-wide donation drive collecting food, treats, toys, supplies, and financial contributions to keep pets healthy, happy, and cared for. Over the next month, Durham residents can join special events, drop off items at APS wish list donation boxes across the community, or shop directly through our Amazon and Chewy Wishlists to send essentials straight to the shelter. This year also brings the return of our popular Battle of the Blues Raffle, where each $50 entry supports our Adoption Assistance Fund and gives participants a chance to win two tickets to the Duke vs. UNC basketball game at Cameron Indoor Stadium—entries close November 2. Movers for Mutts unites Durham to fill trucks, stock shelves, and make a meaningful impact for animals in need, and we’re grateful to have our community rolling with us once again.
