MAGGIE (formerly Maxine, adopted January 2014) & OSCAR (adopted February 2009)

Wanted to send a picture and update on Maxine (now Maggie), adopted January 9th, and Oscar (adopted Feb. 2009). Maggie is a sweetheart! She listens and wants to please, and is learning to walk and even run while staying beside her human. We’re practicing sit/stay and she’s learning to come when called. She’s also learning to play Oscar’s favorite game, “hide and seek” which consists of the dogs sitting and staying while the human hides something in another room. When the human comes back the dogs hunt for the object, and when it is found everyone gets a treat. We’re happy that she’s become a part of our family, and it’s great to see her settling in and relaxing.
