I’m writing to give you an update on Meghan, the Plott Hound/Pit mix whom I adopted in June 2013. After only a few hours at my house, Meghan made herself right at home and has been a true joy to have around! All the love, care and training she received at the shelter and at her foster home really helped with the transition. She was already house-trained and knew some basic commands. And because she’s so smart, eager to please and food motivated, additional training has been fun and easy. Meghan loves to give puppy kisses to my cat Patches, to go for walks in the woods, and to run around in my half-acre fenced back yard. Her favorite things are playing fetch with her squeaky tennis balls and chasing squirrels away from the bird feeder. Since she’s very social and quite energetic, she loves going to day camp several times a week. All in all, she’s quite a happy dog, and I’m more than thrilled to have her in my life. Thanks so much for giving Meghan the opportunity to have a happy ending!
