Movers for Mutts 2025

Movers for Mutts 2025 is drawing to a close, but it’s not too late to get involved!

APS and our Movers for Mutts partner, Two Men and a Truck Durham, have been teaming up annually since 2015 to raise money and donations of food, treats, toys, and much more, all for the benefit of our animals. Local Durham businesses help in the effort, too! They host events and donation boxes for us, and many contribute funds and items on our “wish list” for APS animals.

We’ll be collecting Movers for Mutts donations through November 15, and there’s still time to get your limited-edition 2025 t-shirt! Read on for details.

With a record 15 businesses hosting Movers for Mutts donation boxes this year, there’s sure to be one near you! Just bring an item or two from our wish list to one of these locations and look for the Movers for Mutts box. We are so grateful to all these local supporters for helping us collect these items that are so important to our animals’ health and happiness while they’re at the shelter waiting to find loving homes, and to you for donating!

Raffle Winners have been chosen for the 2026 Battle of the Blues game!

Thanks to all of you who entered the raffle to win a pair of tickets to the Duke-UNC basketball game in Cameron Indoor Stadium in March! Together, we raised more than $13,000! These funds will directly benefit our shelter animals, and we’re so grateful. If you weren’t so lucky this year, stay tuned for 2026!
