Movers for Mutts is BACK!
Get ready to fill trucks, stock shelves, and bring big smiles to animals in need! Movers for Mutts is back for another year, and APS of Durham is teaming up with our friends at Two Men and a Truck to make a difference for the thousands of animals who enter our shelter each year.
Since 2015, Movers for Mutts has brought Durham together to collect much-needed food, treats, toys, supplies, and donations for shelter animals. And this year, we’re ready to do it all over again!
Join us throughout the next two months for events, donation drives and plenty more ways to help animals in our community.
Enter the Battle of the Blues Raffle
Back by popular demand, our annual Battle of the Blues Raffle gives you a chance to win two tickets to the Duke vs. UNC basketball game this season at Cameron Indoor Stadium while supporting APS animals!
Each entry is a $50 donation, and every dollar goes directly toward our Adoption Assistance Fund, allowing us to fund special promotions and reduced adoption fee events to get more animals into their forever families.
Donate Supplies
Our community partners are collecting items from the APS wish list throughout the campaign. Find a donation box near you, drop off an item (or two!), and help us fill the truck for Durham’s animals.
You can also shop online through our Amazon Wishlist and Chewy Wishlist and have your donations sent directly to APS.
Join Us at a Movers for Mutts Event
Movers for Mutts isn’t just a donation drive — it’s a celebration of the people and pets who make Durham such a great community!
Check back here or on our events page for details on our next Movers for Mutts event in the community.
Come say hello, meet some APS supporters, learn more about our adoptable animals, and help us make this year’s Movers for Mutts the biggest one yet!
Let’s Make 2026 the Biggest Movers for Mutts Yet!
More than 5,000 animals come through APS’s doors every year, and every one of them deserves compassionate care while they wait for a loving home.
Movers for Mutts gives our community a chance to come together and make that care possible — one bag of food, one toy, one donation, and one full moving truck at a time.
Thank you to Two Men and a Truck Durham for making this possible! We’re so excited to have Movers for Mutts back. Will you help us make 2026 the best year yet?
