Hi APS of Durham,
So it’s been almost a year since I adopted my baby Rêve from you all. He has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down!
Rêve is my first dog and I hit the jackpot with him. When I first knew him as Spencer, it wasn’t even that I fell in love at first sight. I was prepared for a dog, knew I wanted to adopt one from the shelter, closed my eyes, and picked him!
Over the year, he’s grown from an excitable pup who jumps on everyone to a less excitable pup who still jumps on everyone, but has some manners and cool tricks. He’s taught me so much about caring and understanding, and gives me unconditional love (all for just some tasty treats and toys in return).
It’s great coming home to him adorably sprawled out on his bed, almost too lazy to come say hi, after a nice day of Kong licking and antler chewing.
Once the energy’s back, we’ll wrestle around, play some fetch, or go on a nice long walk.
He’s changed my life, 100% for the better, and has solidly planted himself in my heart.
Rêve is my dream dog and his name proves it 🙂
I love him and thank you so much for taking care of him until he came home.
