Chalk Board

Personality Color: orange

Orange dogs are likely young, energetic, and enthusiastic with lots of love to give! They will thrive with regular exercise, and some training classes would be a good idea. These dogs would be a great companion for an active person who enjoys running or hiking in the park. Fenced-in yard a plus!

My name might be Chalkboard, but my future with you is a completely fresh slate waiting to be filled with gold stars. I’m a sweet, curious, active guy who believes every walk is an exciting field trip and every snack is a well-deserved extra credit reward.

I’m a sharp dog with my own independent agenda, and I take my “studies” of the great outdoors very seriously. Here are a few top subjects I excel in:

  • Recess & Field Trips: I’m a natural on leash and love embarking on daily outdoor excursions where I can sniff every blade of grass like it’s a fascinating textbook.
  • Honor Roll Manners: I’m polite and easygoing around other dogs—I like to give a courteous hello sniff in the hallway before peacefully moving on to my next class.
  • Private Lunch Hall: I take my mealtime seriously and prefer to dine solo without an audience so I can savor every single bite in peace.
  • Enthusiastic Scholar: Food is my absolute favorite subject! Because I get super excited about tasty snacks, I’m eager to learn new tricks and practice my soft treat-taking skills with you.

I’m looking for an active homeroom teacher—I mean, human!—who will give me plenty of gentle affection, fun walks, and brain-stimulating puzzles. If you’re ready to add an A+ companion to your household curriculum, let’s make this the best year yet.
