As the great Dory says, just keep swimming! I’m an endearing, sensitive , and playful pup! Sometimes the world can be a little overwhelming and I get a little nervous, but I’m doing my best to be brave! I’m looking for a home that can help me continue to build my confidence and give me lots of fun enrichment. Some toys and lots of treats would be great too! Take me home today and let’s go splashing in the lake!

Trout can be a little shy when meeting new people, but all he needs is a bit of patience, kindness, and reassurance. Once he realizes he’s safe, his sweet personality shines through. At his sleepover, he quickly opened up and became the perfect companion. This handsome guy gets along well with other dogs and enjoyed spending time with our dog. He loves going for walks and has wonderful leash manners—no pulling, lunging, or reacting to other animals. He’s also a fantastic passenger in the car and is happy to join you on any adventure.
One of Trout‘s favorite moments was visiting a river, where he happily splashed right in! Whether it’s exploring the outdoors, playing with toys, or curling up for a cozy nap, Trout is happiest just being by your side. He’s incredibly endearing and will gently place his paw on you as if to say, “Please stay a little longer.”
All he needs now is a family to call his own! Give him a little time to settle in, and he’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and his whole heart.
