Outsider Art Pet Portrait Fundraiser
April 16 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join us Friday, April 16th from 3pm-6pm for our 2nd annual Outsider Art Pet Portraits Fundraiser, a completely VIRTUAL fundraiser benefiting APS and our Walk For The Animals! The best part? You get to enjoy the fun with us from the comfort of your own home!
Make a minimum $20 donation to our Walk For The Animals fundraiser during this event time and you will be digitally paired up with an APS volunteer who will create a portrait of your pet! Our volunteers have a range of artistic abilities, so the style and skill of your portrait will be a surprise! No matter what, it will be created with love.
Here’s how to participate:
At 3pm on 04/16, we will make a post on our Facebook event (click here) starting the fundraiser. This post will include the donation link. The link will also be emailed to anyone subscribed to APS emails. The Fundraiser will go until 6pm or until the maximum number of portraits has been reached.
1) Click on the link to submit your donation! (Minimum donation of $20 per portrait. One donation = one portrait) If multiple portraits are desired, each picture will have to be accompanied by an individual donation of at least $20. Please a maximum of 2 animals per photo.
2) Once your donation is submitted, follow the email receipt instructions to send in your photo. You can also post your photo in the comments to join in on the fun!
3) Your photo will then be distributed to one of our awesome volunteers who will start working on your portrait! Once your portrait is completed in 2 weeks, we will email you the picture of your portrait! We will also comment back on our original post with your Pet Portrait so everyone can enjoy these fun portraits!
4) Tag, share and enjoy your pet portrait! And don’t forget to use the hashtags #walkwithme2021 and #APSoutsiderart. And thank you for supporting APS!
Funds raised during this online event will help APS greatly in continuing to provide the necessary care and medical attention needed for our animals during this uncertain time.
Alright, ready to join us?! Our volunteers are ready with pencils, crayons, and brushes in hand!
