Join APS at the South Durham Farmer’s Market Saturday, August 26th, from 8 a.m. til noon. APS will be there with our quiz/prize wheel – test your knowledge on APS and animal welfare facts and win a prize! We will also have our Animal Behavior Manager, Juli, there to answer any questions you may have on animal behavior.

We will also be working with dog owners on the benefits of using an Easy Walk Harness or Martingale Collar, over the use of a prong or choke collar. Dog owners who currently use a prong/choke collar and are interested in exploring the benefits of an Easy Walk Harness may visit the APS table to exchange the prong/choke collar for a harness – while supplies last.
