Hey everyone! My name is Rosie and I was adopted from the APS of Durham back in 2005. I had a rough start in my new home. I had been abused and neglected by my first family so I had some adjusting to do, but all I needed was some love, a little training, and some patience, while I learned what it meant to be safe in my forever home. Now I’m a very social girl. I love to have my belly rubbed, playing with my sister, and snuggling under the blankets. I love life and am very protective of my family because they are so good to me. My friends at the APS took very good care of me while I waited for my adoption. I am so grateful for all they did for me. Every belly rub and cookie I get is because they cared enough to take care of me. Thanks everybody for helping me start my new life!
